ALFREDO AVILA is a Chicano filmmaker & facilitator specializing in documentary film as well as community-led Forum Theater activations using his training in the practice of Theater of the Oppressed as a tool for social change. From South America to South Los Angeles and beyond Alfredo has used the tools of film and theater to unite communities around stories of injustice to prepare them for civic action.
